  • Download the ZIP file from the Envato Market website and extract it to a folder on your computer.



  • Open Adobe After Effects and go to File > Scripts > Install Script UI Panel.



  • Browse to the folder where you extracted the ZIP file and select the SmokeWizard.jsxbin file.



  • Click Open and restart Adobe After Effects.



  • Go to Window > Extensions and select Smoke Wizard from the list.




You should now see the Smoke Wizard panel in your workspace. You can dock it to any side of the screen or leave it floating.


How to Use Smoke Wizard




Smoke Wizard is very easy to use and has a user-friendly interface. To create a smoke effect, follow these steps:



  • Create a new composition or open an existing one in Adobe After Effects.



  • Add a video layer or a solid layer to your composition. This will be the source of your smoke effect.



  • Select the layer and click on the Generate button in the Smoke Wizard panel. This will create a new adjustment layer with the Smoke Wizard effect applied to it.



  • Adjust the parameters of the Smoke Wizard effect in the Effect Controls panel. You can change the color, size, speed, direction, turbulence, opacity, and blending mode of the smoke.



  • If you want to animate the smoke, you can use keyframes or expressions to change the parameters over time.




You can also use presets to quickly apply different styles of smoke effects. To use a preset, click on the Presets button in the Smoke Wizard panel and choose one from the list. You can preview the presets by hovering over them with your mouse cursor. To apply a preset, click on it and then click on the Apply button. You can still adjust the parameters of the preset after applying it.
